Kennings' Outfit FOR SALE

Paul Kennings is selling his super quick Anderson/FPE Superkart. See the advert in the link. Price is £7900 or near offer. The outfit is equipped with a generous spares package which makes it a buy to race proposition. He'll be back to Superkart in the future but, for now, it's time for someone else to race this brutal machine!!

Kennings 9th In Euro's After Hockenheim

Paul Kennings returned to racing in 2012 with a fine 8th place in Hockenheim, venue for round 1 of the CIKFIA European Superkart Championships. He followed this with 12th place in Race 2 - both results were gained from place 28 on the grid. A fine recovery from a tricky qualifying session which saw Paul with points that place him 9th in the Championship so far. See the
RESULTS and championship STANDINGS. Also see official press RELEASE.

Hockenheim Euro Opener

BKMS Racing will be at the first round of FIA European Superkart at Hockenheim next weekend (20-22 April). Look out for Paul in the
RESULTS during the weekend.

Scrabbling For The Points

Paul finished a tough Euro season with a 15th in Race 1 and 12th in Race 2 at Assen this weekend. This gave the team 12th overall - not bad given Paul's illness during the year.

Another Top Ten

Paul broke into the top ten in Europe again at the weekend. Following his 12th place in race 1 he managed an 8th place in race 2. Another fine result for the BKMS Racing team at the toughest level of World Superkarting.

Next Stop - Česká Republiky!

BKMS Racing will be at the next FIA European Superkart round at Most in the Czech Republic in June.

Magny-ficent Competition

Paul Kennings opened his CIK-FIA Euro Superkart series account with a fine performance against top-flight opposition this weekend at Magny Cours, France. Within the frame work of the Pits Organisation's International GT Open containing F2, F3, GT's, Lotus & Caterhams, the Superkarts showed there usual turn of speed and again the lap record was lowered. Paul managed a personal best of 1m41.67s during the first race.

His qualifying did not go according to plan however. 39th place and without a completed lap after Q1 put the pressure on - a seized motor putting paid to any chances of posting a competitive time in what turned out to be the fastest conditions of the 2 qualifying sessions. In Q2 he did recover to 18th but the damage was done and a top ten was going to prove difficult. In Race 1 though, he worked his way up to what should have been 10th place only to be betrayed by a water hose fastener failure. With the engine coolant rising to a worrying 97 degrees, he was in damage limitation mode and lost 2 places to effectively salvage 12th place.

Race 2 was better though - a more controlled start from the front row saw everyone with a better chance to progress in the opening lap and Paul seized his opportunity - from 18th to 15th by the end of lap 1 and then steadily progressing to 10th spot.

BKMS Racing now looks forward to the second round at Most in the Czech Republic in June.

Snett's The Way To Do It!

BKMS Racing fielded their 2 drivers at the opening round of the 2011 Division 1 British Superkart (BSK) series at the newly created Snetterton300 circuit, Great Britain. The 3-mile circuit includes a new, testing infield section, which was greeted with a mixture of responses from the drivers. The BKMS Racing drivers loved it though and were soon into their stride. Paul managed a 4th and a 3rd on his spare Rotax engine (selecting his best parts for the Euro series) whilst Neil's 7th and 8th places showed that he was still clearly enjoying himself in the category.

New Circuit, New Lap Record For BKMS Racing!

Both Paul Kennings and Neil Bagley arrived at the newly refurbished Donington National circuit the day before Guy Fawkes night expecting fireworks. The event did not disappoint with some fast and furious racing across 2 categories (1 race for 250 categories and another for 125 & 210's). BKMS Racing delivered the goods with Paul by completing a complete clean sweep of the timesheets - Free Practice, Qualifying and both races and, to cap it off, a new benchmark for the circuit in race 2 (1m 07.91s). Neil's weekend was a success too with his 5th and 4th places cementing a fine performance following a personal best lap time in race 2. All told, a fantastic weekend for the BKMS Racing team and a fine end to the year.

Legs Eleven

Paul confirmed his successful return to Superkart racing on the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans, France last weekend - just four days after his 37th birthday. In a category increasingly dominated by younger drivers, Paul showed that he still had the legs to come 11th in the FIA Euro Series, despite missing the first event at Silverstone earlier in the year.

Two Top Tens In The Land Of Tulips

Paul Kennings made his Euro Superkart return at Assen, Holland recently - exactly 12 months after his big crash at the corresponding event in 2009. Against increasingly stiff opposition, Paul qualified 5th with a personal best lap time proving that he was back to his best following his injury the previous season. He went on to score two tenth places showing that while he has competitive raw pace, his race craft is a little rusty!

Paul Returns To Competition In Style

BKMS Racing driver Paul Kennings made his season debut at the British Grand Prix at Cadwell Park recently. After a tentative start on an all-new Russell Anderson chassis he finished on the podium behind European Champion Gavin Bennett and Dutch ace Marcel Maasmann. 'The team did a great job' beamed Paul 'and special thanks must go to Bob who led the new chassis build'.

Neil Makes European Series Debut

BKMS Racing driver Neil Bagley made his FIA debut at Silverstone in April. The cold and changeable conditions made for a very challenging event for all the drivers with many of the top drivers failing to make the correct tyre choice in Race 1.
Neil had a weekend to forget with many problems but was still pleased to be back out racing again.
Recently injured BKMS driver Paul Kennings was on spanner duties.

BKMS Racing score double top ten in Euro Series opener at Magny Cours

FIA European Superkart Round 1 at the Magny Cours F1 circuit was an encouraging result for the team. Paul Kennings earned 10th and 9th places respectively. The other BKMS driver Neil Bagley was on spanner duty, electing to focus on the British Superkart Series.
'I was pretty pleased with our pace, especially in race 2 as I could still see the likes of Mark Owens (GB) and Damien Payart (F) ahead at the finish', said Paul. Paul now lies equal 9th going into round 2 at Most in the Czech Republic.

Following rounds 5 & 6 at Castle Combe and Assen, Paul and Neil took 3rd and 8th overall in the British Superkart Series. Kennings Returns To Superkart!

Paul Kennings returned to racing only 2 weeks after fracturing his collarbone to grab points for the British Superkart Championship at Bishopscourt, Northern Ireland (07/06/08). He wasn't able to push very hard because of the injury but his pace was respectable towards the end of the meeting. He scored two 3rd places in the Championship which limits the damage of missing Round 1 at Oulton Park.
Paul's recovery has been very quick and he even benefits from being 25mm narrower following the break (see below pic) - an aero advantage!! The team are now gearing up for a full assault on Round 3 at the MSA British Superkart GP next week at Cadwell Park. Order tickets online now!!
